HOPS HR, LLC is a Human Resource Consulting company focused on helping others with their HR needs. Most small businesses are unable to justify costs associated with hiring a full-time HR professional to handle payroll, benefits, and other HR services; partnering with an HR Consultant such as HOPS HR allows the business to improve productivity and profitability. Larger companies may also benefit from using an HR consultant in conjunction with their existing HR department.
David Curtis, Jr., HR Consultant & Founder, has more than 12 years of progressive HR experience in the oil and gas industry. With experience in employee relations, organizational effectiveness, benefits administration, labor relations, and more, David is a successful business partner with a focus on building relationships and providing strategic direction.
David holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification and is a certified SOCIAL STYLE & Versatility® instructor. He earned his Master of Science in Human Resource Management (MSHRM) and Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Texas at Arlington. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies with a focus on Human Resource Development. David has been a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM) since 2009. David joined the Advisory Board for the Tarrant County College Human Resources program in May 2019. In his spare time, David enjoys spending time with his family, tasting new craft beers, and woodworking projects.
